Another month, another cycle, another marker of time has made its way around - summer is moving FAST and July rolls out on a full moon in Aquarius (which is all about community 🫶🏽) and the Sun & Jupiter in Leo. Aquarius reminds us that liberation often begins with a single new perspective. Leo reminds us to express it wholeheartedly.

The work of this combination is to reclaim the part of you that creates simply because it feels ALIVE, and to remember that your aliveness doesn't need to earn its place.✨

Prenatal Class Series
Tuesdays | 6:30–8:30 pm |Fall Series begins September 1st

Our 8-week Prenatal Education Class Series is underway, offering a comprehensive journey through pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum. The Summer Series continues through August 25th, and our Fall Series will begin September 1st. Classes are held Tuesday nights from 6:30–8:30, and registration is for both you AND your partner.

Postpartum Support Series
Tuesdays | 9:30–11 am |Fall Series begins September 8th

Our Postpartum Support Fall Series begins September 8th! This series is centered around connection, community, education, and mindfulness for new moms and babies. Classes are held Tuesday mornings from 9:30–11. Gather with other Buffalo moms in a nurturing group environment designed for learning, sharing, and building connection during the early postpartum season. Dance Alive Thursday, August 27th | 6-9 pm |Cary House Parking Lot

We’ve revived Dance Alive!!! A Buffalo open dance party from the 90s hosted by the wildly fun, bouncy, bop of longstanding local band the Bloodthirsty Vegans (in which our own Rebecca is back to her roots on upright bass!). Join us Thursday August 27th from 6-9pm in the Cary House parking lot for an evening of dancing, mingling, gathering.

Potluck style so bring some snacks (but also  no pressure!) We’ll have water and sodas and all the good vibes Let’s shimmy our way out of summer together!

Embodying Accountability: For Healers, Facilitators & Teachers Friday, August 21 | 5–8 pm| In Person at Cary House & Online

Join us for an evening of learning, reflection, and embodied practice as we explore what it means to cultivate accountability in our work and communities. Together, we'll discuss concepts and terms related to gender, racism, anti-Blackness, ableism, and more, while practicing staying connected to our bodies in the face of differing perspectives, unlearning internalized oppression, and releasing perfectionism.

Prenatal Yoga | Evolation Yoga & Buff & Flo | Saturday’s & Sunday’s

And don’t forget that we have ongoing Prenatal Yoga! Rebecca teaches at Evolation on Saturdays from 9:30-11am, and Jess teaches at Buff & Flo in Orchard Park on Sundays from 11-11:45am.

Both classes are appropriate for all trimesters, and are not simply a modified yoga class, rather a very specific practice for labor preparation designed to support the enormous physical, emotional and spiritual changes that accompany the challenge of bringing another human being into the world.

Our amazing Dr. Alana had a beautiful birth (for those of you following along, her breech baby flipped!!)

Pregnancy is the perfect time to see a pelvic floor physical therapist!

When you enter the building, come into the waiting area where you will see the kiosk for check in. Follow the prompts, make yourself a cup of tea and have a seat! Your provider will receive a notification that you have arrived and come down to get you for your appointment.

Please note, our new booking system does require a credit card to be entered when scheduling an appointment. This card is simply used to hold your appointment and helps protect against late cancellations and no-shows. If you have a gift card, don't worry - it will still work! Your gift card will be applied to your appointment at checkout, and your credit card will only be charged if your gift card does not cover the full balance.
